TOONED IN© 2018 Spooktacular

As we draw close to the curtains on 2018 we are looking forward to the New Year here in the studio.

A Minute With Captain Obvious© featuring none other than Captain Obvious has sailed back into port on permanent leave. Yes, you read that correct. Sadly our Captain has decided to retire. The feature is no longer available on the printed pages. Throughout 2018 we have been looking back on our worthy seafarer. We hope you will stick around to see more as he may come out of retirement for a crossover event. Not likely but always possible. (I recall throwing him in the mix of the other features.

Please Stay Tooned In© right here for a look at the feature which will always be special to us here in the studio. It was no easy feat in these current times to have four features appear through the printed pages. There was just not enough print circulation to make the feature feasible to continually create. We will feature more madness from A Minute With Captain Obvious© through flashback looks. We liked his style and will miss writing the adventures for our fearless oceanic inhabitant.

What other events are coming for you the readers in 2019? We have plenty of funnies rolling off the drawing boards. The 31tst Anniversary for FIDDLESTIX© finally rolls around. We are looking into A Traveling Exhibit which would be available for viewing along with Meet and Greet receptions. Stay Tooned Friends.

Welcome To The Jungle© has also followed in the Captain’s retirement. Right here every Wednesday we feature a selected strip from the previous syndicated run of the funnies.2016 Welcome To The Jungle © Michael Pohrer

During 2019 if your local newspaper doesn’t carry the funnies from the drawing boards in their lineup we are running select strips from the dailies, and weekend strips from the syndicated features Welcome To The Jungle©, and FIDDLESTIX© right here at TOONED IN©. As the schedule has changed up since signing on with a new syndicate.  Feel free to contact your local features editor and request they add the funnies, a little help goes a long way friends.

FIDDLESTIX© continues on for the 31st Anniversary mark for 2019. We really appreciate your support of this feature for all these years. It warms an old cartoonists heart to know that it brings so much joy to the readers on the printed pages. Every Friday we feature a selected panel from the current syndicated run of the funnies.
